I met Alan or, 'Polar Bear' sometime back before we got our ham license's,
the early to mid-80's. We would keep in touch with each other from time
to time over the years. I moved away to Texas in 1996, we still, sort of
kept in touch via phone or in very rare cases, ham radio.
In 2002,
I received a package that included a
letter
from Alan containing
many short stories he wrote, some of his art work and various crafts he's
made. I found his stories worth publishing here for others to read. Reading
them was like sitting there in the same room with him while he tells me
how some of his days went.
